FLEXIBLE OSCILLATOR CORE
Traveler's voice comes from three continuously variable oscillators, spanning six octaves with real-time waveform modulation. Each oscillator also has its own unique capabilities. Oscillator 1 has sync and both linear and exponential FM. Oscillator 2 features a 7-voice unison "Super" stack with detune and stereo spread. Oscillator 3 can switch to a Wavetable mode with 85 wavetables, universal format import, and Duo stacking with stereo spread. Traveler can sound like a classic DCO synth, or, via the vintage parameter, age like a classic analog with subtle oscillator drift and non-periodic behavior.
Traveler voices can be used polyphonically or monophonically from 1 up to 16 voice stacks.
MODELED FILTER ARCHITECTURE
Traveler features your choice of Multi-topology low-pass Ladder filters (6, 12, 18, and 24 dB/octave) and a NJM2069-style 24 and 12 dB/octave filter. The NJM2069 was famously used in the Korg DW-8000 and DSS-1. Any filter choice has the option of modern low-end bass compensation. Traveler also includes an independent high-pass filter with linked low-pass cutoff tracking, mixer feedback loop, and pre-filter drive.
IMMERSIVE STEREO PATH
Create subtle timbre differences in stereo with Traveler's Dual/stereo filter topology, including Left/Right frequency spacing. The per-voice "Spread" parameter alternates the filter spacing offset for each note. The output section also features an alternate voice or random voice panning plus a Low Frequency Width parameter that can keep bass locked to the center while treble expands wide. Traveler also features per-oscillator panning and assignable voice-pan modulation.
EXPANSIVE ENVELOPES
Traveler's filter, amplifier, and modulation envelopes are switchable between ADSR and an expanded ADBSSR shape, which is great for evolving sounds. Each time-based stage has a customizable curve that can be selected on the screen. The modulation envelope has an "alternate-control" option that allows it to be triggered by a modulation controller or an LFO cycle for a looping envelope.
SEQUENCER AND ARPEGGIATOR
The Control Tracks are modulation sequencers. Each can generate a repeating series of control values and route that movement to a selected destination. Different step lengths, rates, smoothing, swing, randomization, and ping-pong operation make them particularly useful for rhythmic filter movement, wavetable animation, stereo motion, evolving effects, and other repeating modulation. The Arpeggiator sits beside them and provides independent oscillator destinations along with its own direction, range, speed, gate, swing, destination, latch, and pedal controls. The two systems complement one another: the Arpeggiator can generate musical movement while the Control Tracks animate the sound around it.

Mike Martin is the founder of KeySolutions Sounds and the creator of TRAVELER. Mike has worked as a product manager, sound designer, synthesist, keyboardist, recording artist in addition to his roles leading marketing for various keyboard manufacturers.
As a composer, Mike's music could be classified as Ambient, New Age, Electronic and Synthwave but his programs in TRAVELER are designed to stretch across a wide variety of musical genres.
Scott McAuley is a sound designer, composer & producer from central Scotland. Notably the analog sound designer for Roberts Space Industries hugely successful Star Citizen game.
Along with his sound design work, Scott is also a regular co-host on the ProSynth Network weekly live show and carries out online one to one sound design tuition.
Drew Schlesinger is a world renowned sound designer, synthesizer and effects programmer and composer. Over the last 40 years he’s created internal presets for over 235 products from 35+ manufacturers including Roland, Korg, Moog, Arturia, Kurzweil, Emu, Eventide, Spectrasonics, Soundtoys and many more. He’s also a composer of ambient electronica and has a very active Instagram account focused on electronic music, artists and devices.
Venus Theory is a composer, sound designer, and content creator. He is a prolific independent artist specializing in electronic music and composes for major video games and other media projects. He also has a highly successful YouTube channel.

James Terris is a long-established sound designer and musician based in the San Francisco Bay Area and has with countless synth companies including Cherry Audio, Dave Smith Instruments/Sequential, Pioneer DJ, Apple, and Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control and supported artists such as Howard Jones, Curt Smith (Tears For Fears), Dave Wakeling, Naked Eyes, and more.
John "Skippy" Lehmkuhl has been a professional musician, sound designer and patch maker since he joined Korg in 1988 and has worked on countless Korg products including the Wavestation, KARMA, Z1, Kronos and all the Wavedrums just to name a few. In 2009, he started PlugInGuru.com and has over 150 libraries for the most popular synth plug-ins which includes his own Plug-In Unify 2 (think Combination mode in your favorite workstation synth but instead you can use all of your own plug-ins). Unify 2 can add special powers (unlimited layers for starters) to TRAVELER as well as all your plug-ins.
David Helpling is a North American composer and recording artist known for emotional instrumental music with a lush and textural sound. His music is synonymous with the genres of Ambient, New Age, Space and Electronic. Through many releases over 30 years, his powerful moods and immersive production style have captivated listeners of New Instrumental music.
James is a freelance sound designer and musician based in the UK. He creates third-party preset packs as JD Soundsets. He draws inspiration and influence from Tangerine Dream, 80s film scores, and others and has been a long-time sound designer for Cherry Audio, Modal, and IK Multimedia.
Tom Hammer is a pianist, songwriter, composer and producer in the New York area who has composed and produced music for ESPN for the last 25 years.
