Big changes.

More expressive curves. Faster scene switching. A clearer workflow.

Passage 1.0.4 gives you more freedom to shape MIDI response, switch complete setups from your controller, and organize your presets. This update includes the following improvements over version 1.0.2:

Expanded curve editing. Shape each Transformer’s response with up to eight control points. Move points horizontally and vertically, and add or remove them directly on the graph.

MIDI scene recall. Assign notes or CC values to scenes using MIDI Learn, then recall a complete Passage setup as you play. Coordinate scene changes with your instrument’s keyswitches, with recall working even when the Passage window is closed.

Reusable Recall Maps. Save scene assignments for your favorite instruments and libraries, then reuse them across projects. Choose a startup map for new instances while each saved DAW project retains its own map and scene settings.

An 88-key assignment overview. See your note assignments across a full piano keyboard. Matching colors connect each scene to its assigned keys, making your setup easier to understand at a glance.

Redesigned preset browsers. Scene, Transformer, and Aftertouch browsers now share a cleaner, more modern design. Clearer typography, streamlined controls, and a dedicated details panel make browsing easier. Inspect a preset before loading it.

Better preset organization. Create custom scene categories and edit descriptions for Scene, Transformer, and Aftertouch user presets. Description edits preserve both the saved settings and your current live adjustments.

Compatibility with your existing presets. Continue using older scenes and Transformer and Aftertouch presets without needing to resave them.

Available for macOS in AU, VST3, and AAX, with native Apple silicon and Intel support. The signed, notarized installer lets you choose which formats to install.

Hi to all!

The problem now with nearly all plugins and their arpeggiators and their built-in sequencers is that ex. in C-major playing the C-note produces naturally the first chord which is the C-major chord, but the next step in C-Major, note D, will play as D-major chord (because arpeggio/sequence is programmed to play major chords). In C-major scale the next note, D, should be d-minor chord.

Would it be possible to have in the future, an additional option for the arpeggiator/sequence so that one could define the pattern in a specific key (ex. A natural minor). Then one could transpose the pattern with the midi key so that the pattern should stay in A natural minor (MIDI-key A is a-minor chord but the MIDI-key B should be b-diminished chord, F will get F-major chord, F# would be F# diminished chord etc.).

This way one could easily accompany the harmony in the piece. Naturally one should then be able to change the type of the scale via some CC-command on a track. That would help to accompany more complex harmonies.

From the user point of view on could define the arpeggio pattern by assigning the pattern in a defined key (visually ex. clicking on a keyboard image?).

Thx for a great and musically oriented good sounding products!!!

Hi and thanks for the invite. Recently I was working with a slightly out of tune audio file and wanted to tune Traveler to the audio. I could not find a way to do it. The options I found did not cover the range I needed. I wonder if these features are "in the works". What are your thoughts about this? Love the sound of Traveler but in this case I had to use another synth for the job, unless I had tweaked the tuning of the audio. Thanks!

Hello, fellow Travelers.

I like the idea of being able to share presets here, and I noticed that nobody has yet, so I wanted to share one that I created (and have been using quite a bit). It's a very simple preset compared to what Traveler can do, but I love the sound of it. It's called "Alpha-Alpha" and is 'inspired' by another manufacturer's Alpha keyboard.

Hope it proves useful! If nothing else, hopefully it sparks others to post better presets to put my meager effort to shame. :)

-Don

Note: this was created by clicking "NEW" and building it up from there, so any similarities to any other preset are unintentional/coincidental.
