Hi to all!
The problem now with nearly all plugins and their arpeggiators and their built-in sequencers is that ex. in C-major playing the C-note produces naturally the first chord which is the C-major chord, but the next step in C-Major, note D, will play as D-major chord (because arpeggio/sequence is programmed to play major chords). In C-major scale the next note, D, should be d-minor chord.
Would it be possible to have in the future, an additional option for the arpeggiator/sequence so that one could define the pattern in a specific key (ex. A natural minor). Then one could transpose the pattern with the midi key so that the pattern should stay in A natural minor (MIDI-key A is a-minor chord but the MIDI-key B should be b-diminished chord, F will get F-major chord, F# would be F# diminished chord etc.).
This way one could easily accompany the harmony in the piece. Naturally one should then be able to change the type of the scale via some CC-command on a track. That would help to accompany more complex harmonies.
From the user point of view on could define the arpeggio pattern by assigning the pattern in a defined key (visually ex. clicking on a keyboard image?).
Thx for a great and musically oriented good sounding products!!!

Otto,
Lets clarify. The arpeggiator works based on the notes that you're playing.
Your issue is the sequencer. It is not a traditional "note sequencer". If pitch is the destination, then it offsets from your original note(s) based on the values that are set. I understand what you're asking but there are several complications in implementing your request. We'll keep studying the options for this in the future.
